An absolutely stunning pearl and diamond?pendant necklace from the Late Victorian (ca1900)?era! Crafted in 14k gold and platinum, this incredible piece is comprised of a gorgeous mixed metals pendant which hangs from a complimentary gold chain. The pendant features a pinkish-white south sea pearl which acts as the pouch of a purse, with six full cut diamonds bead set in platinum settings acting as the purse's frame and a striking blue sapphire in a milgrained gold bezel setting acting as its clasp. The beautiful South Sea pearl exhibits a gorgeous luster and wonderful shimmery white color in a baroque shape.?Each stone?catches the light beautifully with every turn, creating a gorgeous combination with the?lustrous pearl. The pearl is riveted at?the?back of the pendant, which is marked "14k", and the centerpiece hangs?from a simple gold oval jump ring. The pendant currently hangs on a?delicate rope chain secured by a spring ring clasp, which is marked "565"??It's a gorgeous and unique?pendant?that would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
